The
Brief
RSP took great care to
review hours of effects elements, to gather the correct
backgrounds that were required to give the feeling of the
batmobile traveling through the various streets of Gotham.
RSP provided a smooth and easy experience for VFX Supervisors
Janek Sirrs & Dan Glass, delivering all shots to the
UK via a high-speed internet link.
Distance proved to be no problem, with RSP consistently
delivering a high standard of work often faster than facilities
in the UK, without the clients ever having to walk in the
building. |

The
Creative Process
Director Christopher
Nolan wanted to distinguish this Batman from the others,
without relying on complex visual effects to tell the story.
RSP’s contribution to the film utilised subtle and
seamless ‘real world’ visual effects techniques,
allowing the audience to concentrate on the story instead
of the effects.
