The
Brief
RSP had a short time frame to turn around shots in this fast-paced sequence. Of paramount importance was ensuring that VFX Supervisor Greg McMurry was getting what he needed creatively, as well as ensuring that the effects worked to sell the story point.
The difference in timezones between Sydney and Los Angelese greatly
enhanced the ability for feedback to be addressed in a timely
manner, as RSP were able to work while the US slept. |

The
Creative Process
RSP utilised inventive
compositing solutions for working through timing and grading
issues with editorial & production in the fast-paced
sequence.
Interactive quicktime sessions & filmouts allowed the
sequence to fit seamlessly in to the narrative of the film.
