Pipeline Developer – Maya, Houdini, Nuke, 3DLight pipeline

Employment period: Immediate Start, through to mid 2012.
Location: RSP Adelaide, Australia. Work permit will be applied for the successful applicant if required.

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking production ready Pipeline Developers to join our team. We are working on a number of a high profile, live action feature films. The Hunger Games is one of these!

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create production ready 2D & 3D pipeline tools in line with Artists and CG Supervisor's creative & technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain generic tools and workflows for use throughout the facility and specific to the project needs.
- Provide technical support and advice to artists and supervisors.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience working in a feature film environment in similar production pipeline positions.
- Solid experience with C++ API of a major CG package such as Maya, Nuke &/or Houdini.
- MEL, HScript, python or Perl scripting experience.
- Software development experience in a Linux focused environment.
- Excellent written, documentation & verbal skills.
- Maintain a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Experience working in a close-knit team to tight production deadlines.
- Be smart, adaptable and passionate about your work.
- Excellent work ethic with a can-do approach.
