Support Administrator

Employment period: Immediate Start, through to mid 2012.
Location: RSP Adelaide, Australia. Applicants will be required to have the right to work in Australia.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Rising Sun Pictures, one of Australia's leading VFX specialists, is currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Support Administrator for our Adelaide office.

In this role you will be troubleshooting complex issues to ensure an efficient and stable work environment for end users. The operating system environment is mostly Linux and OSX but includes some windows workstations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete & update technical support tickets
- Systems and Work Environment configuration for end users.
- Ensure end user work environment is configured and operating as expected.
- Contribute to documentation for end users.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years working with Linux operating systems supporting end users.
- Installation of software in Linux.
- Experience working with a ticket tracking system for work allocation.
- Experience with setup and maintenance of web applications servers.
- Some Sys Admin skills relating to (SVN,Authentication, networks, DNS,
DHCP, NFS etc...)
- Redhat RHCT, RHCE Certification highly regarded.
