Amanda brings over two decades of experience in vocational education, industry engagement and program development to her role as Manager of Training and Education at Rising Sun Pictures (RSP). She leads the education partnership with Adelaide University, supporting the delivery of the Bachelor of Visual Effects and working alongside her team to prepare students for careers in the screen and VFX industries. Through mentoring, industry engagement, the development of industry-aligned learning experiences, career development and recruitment preparation, Amanda is passionate about creating meaningful pathways that connect emerging artists with real-world opportunities.

Prior to joining RSP, Amanda held a range of training and acting leadership positions at Marden Senior College, including VET Trainer, Acting RTO Manager and Acting VET Coordinator. She played a key role in establishing Certificate III programs in Visual Effects, 3D Modelling and 3D Animation throughout different VET initiatives, creating pathways for secondary students into creative industries.

Amanda is committed to empowering the next generation of artists through accessible, industry-aligned education and strong industry partnerships. In 2023, she was recognised as a finalist in the South Australian Training Awards for VET Teacher/Trainer of the Year.
