Chris Milne brings more than two decades of experience in financial management, commercial analysis and organisational governance to his role as Financial Controller at Rising Sun Pictures (RSP). In this position, he oversees the studio’s financial strategy and operational performance, supporting RSP’s creative and technical teams with robust, transparent and efficient financial systems.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Administrative Management) from the University of South Australia and is a recognised Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Prior to joining RSP, he held senior finance roles at MPC and KOJO, where he worked closely with large VFX and post‑production teams in fast‑paced, creatively driven environments. This experience has shaped his calm, analytical approach and informs the collaborative, steady leadership style he brings to RSP.

Affectionately known as “Super Mario,” Chris has also been deeply involved in the Australian Fistball community for many years. After previously representing Australia at the national level, he has continued to champion the sport off the field as a long‑standing member of the Fistball Australia Board, where he has served for more than 12 years. Chris is currently the head coach of the Australian men’s team and remains actively focused on promoting and growing the sport both in South Australia and nationally.
