Kacy McDonald is a South Australia–based Executive Visual Effects Producer with extensive experience delivering complex VFX pipelines across international feature films, episodic television, and animation. She has overseen major productions for the world’s leading studios, spanning both scripted and non‑scripted content.

Her career began in animation at DisneyToons, where she built a strong production foundation on titles such as The Three Musketeers, Tarzan 2, and Lilo & Stitch 2, and later contributed to Happy Feet, which won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. An active industry leader, Kacy is a recognised speaker who has presented at Siggraph Asia and participated in senior leadership panels for studios including Industrial Light & Magic. Her work has been recognised with an AACTA Award win for Tron: Ares, AEAF awards for Wicked and Skeleton Crew, and multiple VES, Academy Award, and BAFTA nominations as part of award‑nominated teams.

Kacy’s recent credits include The Mandalorian and Grogu, Tron: Ares, Wicked: For Good, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, and Lilo & Stitch. She has contributed to some of the most influential franchises of the past decade, with key roles on productions including Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, The Batman, Avengers: Endgame, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
