RSP at GISA26

Bringing together leaders from government, defence, industry, academia, and critical infrastructure, GISA26 explored the challenges shaping today's information landscape. He delivered a keynote, "What can the VFX industry teach us about trust in the age of synthetic media?", drawing on his experience in visual effects to examine how organisations can navigate a world increasingly influenced by AI-generated content, synthetic media, and cognitive warfare.

Ian also joined Phil Barrenger, Ben Ward, and Dennis Jones for a panel discussion on machine learning, visual effects, and trust in the digital age. Together, they explored the opportunities and risks emerging technologies present, and what organisations can learn from industries that have long worked at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and authenticity.
