Accredited Training
RSP and the University of South Australia (Adelaide University from 2026*) collaboratively deliver accredited VFX courses. In classrooms set up to mirror real-world production environments and with instructors who are working professionals, the award-winning visual effects studio rigorously trains students in the technologies and techniques they’ll need to succeed in an expanding global film industry. Since the program’s inception in 2015, dozens of aspiring artists have used the studio’s undergraduate and graduate-certificate courses, as stepping-stones to their first industry jobs, many of them at RSP.
When you study VFX through UniSA (Adelaide University from 2026*) you will:
- Gain the technical and professional skills required to enter the global VFX industry.
- Be mentored by industry leaders and professionals at RSP.
- Develop your own demo reel shots under the guidance of RSP VFX artists.
- Attend unique networking opportunities with RSP staff and the broader VFX community.
- Work on feature film shots to real world deadlines in a production environment.
- Learn from professionals and educators who are Houdini Certified Trainers.
*RSP are proud of their successful ten-year partnership with the University of South Australia. From January 2026, RSP courses will be delivered with Adelaide University - as part of the amalgamation of the University of South Australia and The University of Adelaide. There will be no change to RSP course delivery under this new agreement. Current enrolled students will transition their enrolment to the new Adelaide University.
